Ed Mangan, owner and engineer, of Energy Design and Consulting started in the energy efficiency field over 25 years ago. Since that time, he has completed countless energy audits, written numerous grants and saved his clients millions of dollars.

 

Ed has an extensive professional career that began in the United States Air Force. He earned his BSEE from Arizona State University in December of 1973. After his retirement from the Air Force, he began an impressive career in the energy management field.

 

Ed was elected the founding President of the Association of Professional Energy Consultants (APEC). In 2002, Ed was asked to participate on Governor Jane Hull’s Energy Efficiency Task Force. Also in 2002, he was a member of J.D. Hayworth’s Energy Advisory Team (HEAT).

 

Recently, he has worked with schools, businesses, churches, hotels and industry facilities.
